VIC mini reunion 2008
These are pics taken by Dwayne Burrows and kindly sent by Steve Potter of attendees at the Chelsea RSL on the 10th May 2008.

G'day all, Well the VIC get together has been and gone. Thanks to all the blokes for turning up ie: Pete Symons, Neil Haines, Paul Latimer, Wayne (speed) Burrows, Lindsay (stan) Lithgow,and not to forget our photographer Speeds son, Dwayne.The afternoon started slowly but by 1400 it started to liven up with each reflecting on our time at Leeuwin and what we got up to in the fleet. No names no pack drill, pete kept us entertained and hasn't changed. I will take this opportunity to make special mention to Stan who travelled from Wodonga to attend (Bravo Zulu mate).
The afternoon wound up at approx 1700 but before we went our seperate ways we all decided to another get together at a different venue in the early new year. So till then fella's stay well, keep your heads down, and come out swinging.

The VIC get together, although small, was great and thank you to Steve Potter for his organisation. It was a walk down memory lane telling stories and listening to others! This has certainly got me exciting for the big one next year, in the interim I look for to our next VIC catch up early next year.
It was a pleasure seeing old friends Pete, Steve, Wayne, Paul and Lindsay (Stan). There were a few photo's taken (thank you to Wayne's son Dwayne), hope to see them shortly. See you all again soon.....other guys please come along.

28th's Novacastrian Chapter, at dinner on 3rd May 08. Late apologies were received from Steve an Yvonne Whatley.
It was a great night with many laughs. I was the person picked on, all night, due to the fact I was two hours late turning up. I made the dinner not the pre dinner drinks. Mike and Sue Rye melded in immediately and joined the others especially my own wife in non stop attack on my person. It was bound to happen as the last time we dined it was all Lucky's fault.
The next outing will be kept secret, that way everybody except me will be late.
